Where we begin
We begin by providing a potential client a free report. It compares your web page to competitors, showing you how well you rank for a keyword in a major search engine and then makes suggestions as to what improvements should be made. iNamics uses several sophisticated software tools to help us evaluate your web pages. Unfortunately, if your web pages aren't optimized, then this report may show many zeros under your sites heading. Submitting your web site to search engines without first optimizing is almost pointless. Most likely, your web site is listed at a position where it rarely, if ever, will be seen -- unless your precise company name is searched for, versus your product or service category. It’s possible your web site may not even be index at all by search engines because there is no content or information enough to list it or there are other technical problems. We see this often.
Most search engines display 10 results on the first page, and relatively few people click through to the second or third page. Usability expert Jakob Nielsen says, "Users almost never look beyond the second page of search results." Danny Sullivan, ClickZ Search Engine Marketing Columnist, puts it this way: "Being listed on position 11 or beyond means that many people may miss your web site." For that reason alone, optimizing your web pages is a very important step in promoting your web site.
How Our Free Report is Produced:
In receiving a free report from iNamics, either you have provided us with the information necessary through filling out our form found by clicking here, or we have gathered the information directly from viewing your website pages, with some educated guess work.
First of all, knowing which page(s) in your website to evaluate is the first bit of information needed. If we gathered this information ourselves, then we tried to focus on what we saw as the most important pages with the best content that describes what you offer or do. In providing a free report, we evaluate up to three pages.
Web pages must be optimized for relevant keywords and phrases for all search engines being targeted. If your web pages are properly optimized, then they will get ranked as best as possible. If there is something done that a search engine doesn’t like, then your web page can be “black-listed” and not get indexed by that particular search engine at all. Ideally, one web page should be optimized for one primary and two secondary keywords, and no more. If your site has many web pages and you decide to have your entire website optimized, as may be recommended, we typically suggest that one web page per keyword be optimized. This is a strategy we use to keep costs down when employed in this work. We believe this approach is most economical while providing the greatest returns to our clients.
Each web page should have the keywords associated with it represented by its context and also listed in “meta tags”, which are hidden messages that only search engine see when they scan and record the information on your pages. When this analysis was done, we looked at what keywords are listed frequently on the selected pages. Specifically, we get the keywords from the context of those web pages using our highly sophisticate summarization tool. We also look at the keyword meta tag, but sometimes the keywords represented in the context of the page don’t match what’s listed in meta tags, which is a major mistake that penalizes page rank and must be corrected.
Analysis Options:
In our analysis, we also select visible and invisible HTML page sections for Keywords. In addition, we set the analysis options for the HTML section display and keyword calculations in the Section Details list.
We reduce or broaden the different HTML page sections we analyze. We analyze visible and invisible HTML sections, which include the Title, META Description, META Keywords, BODY text, Image Name, Image ALT text, Link or Image descriptions, Link Href, Headings and Comments tags and many others. For a complete list of what we check during a complete discovery, conducted at the beginning of our engagement, please visit www.inamics-seo.com. In this free report, we analyzed Document Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, Body Text, First Sentence of Body Text and the IMG ALT Attributes.
Next, we conduct a search to find the top competitors for this keyword and then we compare where each evaluated page is in relationship to these top listed sites. Our “Top Competitor Analyzer” allows us to compare competing sites quickly for any search engine. One of our techniques that effectively moves our client pages up the ranks is to conduct a full analysis, where we evaluate the top listed pages and view what was done to obtain such high rankings. Then we make the changes directly or suggest corrections to our client’s pages. We also use our study of keyword density and relevance and review with our clients where improvements can be made to help achieve high rankings. Ideally, we make these corrections directly, as mentioned, on client pages, then watch what the effect were on listings and then tweak the pages according to what we see as the effect of what we do. This is an on-going, never ending process that takes patience and time
